Approval from Business Services is required to operate any university vehicle and required for any destinations exceeding 500 miles one way.
To operate bus 104 and 105 you are required to have a Commercial Driver License. Individuals are required to have a CDL if they operate a motor vehicle designed to transport 16 or more passengers including the driver.
There are three 6’ x 9’ enclosed trailers with assigned numbers, if all three are unavailable for your requested date(s), you will be notified.
When towing a trailer with van 100, 106, 107. Please turn on the Tow/Haul mode.
Van 108 cannot tow a trailer. It does not have a Tow/Haul mode.
Vehicle keys can be picked up and returned at the office of Diron Whitaker (firstname.lastname@example.org) in the Physical Plant building Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-12:00 PM & 1:00 PM-5:00 PM. You will need to sign out the vehicle assigned to you, then you will be given a binder with the vehicle keys, roadside help assistance information and vehicle checklist inside. Insurance cards are located in the vehicles.
Vehicles are required to be completely filled up with gas before returning them.
